The town was built specifically for the series in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia
Tale
Discover the mystery of a town in the middle USA that imprisons anyone who enters. While the residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and search for a way out, they must also survive the threats of the surrounding forest. The site, known as Beaver Bank Mansion, has a long history, and many years ago it contained housing units, a community hall, a fire station, a school, a church, a store, etc.
When Boyd enters the distant wood, he finds himself at the bottom of a well
(all demolished by 2004) to support the workers of the nearby military radar base that operated in the 1950s and 1960s. All that remains are the paved streets and driveways, and a fake town has been built on them.. Martin had (presumably) roped him down in the room above, despite the fact that his wrists were chained.
They are definitely very cool
Featured in Half in the Sack: 2022 Midyear Part 1 (TV Show) (2022 ). Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) Written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans Performed by The Pixies. I have loved this series so far, the acting and the mysteries etc.
While "Lost" it was also a fantastic show in terms of acting, direction, etc
However, I'm starting to worry a little that this is going way too much for "Lost" vibe. At the very end, what annoyed me was how many mysteries were there just to be mysterious. Watching the second season, I found myself a little annoyed every time another strange mystery was introduced, whether it was a symbol, object, thing, event… mostly because I couldn’t stop myself from thinking "Will this be relevant in any way long term?
It is never mentioned again or explained in any way, ever
Is this just one of those there-is-a-mysterious-mist-creature or opening or light etc. Because that kind of mystery writing just ends up annoying me, because the writer can reach into their backside and pull out absolutely anything and never come back to it."Ok next, there's a llama in a red hat whispering the words "paleontological" ; and "shovel"!" and that's it, forgotten one season later, no explanation, just there to be weird. Still, I'll keep watching, but if this one day has an ending on the level of "it was all in his head!" and there is no attempt to connect some theme-logic to it all, then consider this review at least 2-3 points lower...
