Villagers around the Kahuripan Islamic Boarding School experienced many disturbances, from crop failure to possession. What happened?. I don't watch many Indo horror film and it was pretty damn scary to me. It was basic and slow at start but it picked its pace quickly.The fighting scenes were really on a different level. The sudden random martial art reminded me of IP man or any other martial art movie (lol) but in a very good way of course.Loved the acting, place and the thrill it brought. One thing I particularly loved was the relevance in islamic context. The reality of possession and how to deal with such being was very spot on.There were times I had goosebumps. I enjoyed the story. Even though I loved the movie, the ending was very basic .BUT REST ASSURED, THIS MOVIE WILL DEFINITELY GIVE YOU THE HORROR YOU WANT. (you can watch it with family)
