Enchanted Agatha Harkness regains her freedom thanks to the help of a teenager. Intrigued by his request, she embarks on the Witches' Road tests to regain her skills and reveal the motivation of the teenager. Stars Kathryn Hahn, Joe Locke, Sasheer Zamata, Debra Jo Rupp and Ali Ann, along with showrunner Jac Schaeffer and executive producer Mary Livanos, shared how they prepared for the Marvel show. Westview's exterior scenes were shot on Blondie Street at the Ranch Warner Bros., before the neighborhood was demolished.

I felt cheated and upset

Agatha lives in the house used in the TV series Bewitched (1964).. Link to WatchMojo: Top 10 Most Shocking Disney Plus Day Reveals (2021). I came to Agatha All Along without any preconceived ideas or without looking at the back story. So it wasn't until I was deep into it and watching Episode 6 (?) that I realized it had something to do with the Marvel Cinematic Universe - specifically WandaVision.

The acting is excellent across the board, with Hahn standing out as Agatha

Well, when I got engaged to Agatha All Along, I put it on hold and had to watch WandaVission. While WandaVision has some critical element to the story of Agatha All Along, it's pretty tangential (and - IMO - a much lesser show than Agatha All Along). Well, I finished E6, then got into E7-E9 and I really have to give the show credit. The scenes, by the way, have an original perspective on how the show moves.

And it doesn't detract unduly from the overall show

Most of all the trials the characters go through and their growth is well done. The show maintains an engaging story line for adults, none of the usual candy where everyone ends up okay in the end. While I don't think the MCU tie-in was necessary, it is. I'd probably watch a second season if it was out of sight.
