I went to see the movie on opening night and it was very good, exceeding my expectations
There's a reason why 50% of the reviews are This movie has one star on IMDB, but if if you search for user reviews, you won't find a single written review explaining why (at the time of writing this). This is because electoral politics have really come to the fore and ruined any chance of a real ranking.
There is almost no politics in the film, there are hints of Cohn
He does a great job of recreating the 70's 80's and Stan does a great job of playing the evolution of Donald Trump. Roy Cohn is also wonderfully played by Jeremy Strong, who even took the time to look at Cohn's mannerisms and the way he spoke and how he got into acting.

The political past and some politicians make an appearance, but the bulk of the film is about where young Donald Trump learned to navigate the complex upper echelon of society where politics, law and money mingled.
